Note: Creating tools for emotional well-being and supporting students
One of my biggest accomplishments is developing a mental wellness toolkit during my service-learning project at Cedar Heights Residential Living. I created simple and practical activities using visual supports and Canva that focused on emotional regulation, mindfulness, and coping strategies for adults with developmental disabilities. This experience helped me understand how structured and creative tools can support emotional well-being in an inclusive way.
Another accomplishment I am proud of is my placement with the Caring and Safe Schools Program (TDSB). I supported students in the classroom by helping with transitions, engagement, and emotional support. I was able to build positive relationships with students and help them feel more calm, supported, and confident during their school day.
